What is a fit record?
On every Mirelora product page we publish the measurements of the woman in the photograph and the exact size she is wearing. That is a fit record. It exists because it answers the question a review was only ever a proxy for.
- Model — 5'7" / 170 cm
- Bust — 44" / 112 cm
- Waist — 38" / 97 cm
- Hip — 49" / 124 cm
- Wearing — Size 2X
Five numbers, and the size on her body.
A star rating tells you that a stranger was happy. It does not tell you what she measures, what size she ordered, or whether her shape is anything like yours. The fit record gives you all three, and it is on the page before you buy rather than in a review thread you have to scroll.
Alongside it, each product page states the garment’s stretch level, bust support, coverage and where it adjusts — so you know how much room the fabric will forgive.
We have no reviews yet.
Mirelora opened this year. There is no wall of five-star ratings here, and we are not going to invent one. This is what we put in its place.
Measured, not modelled
Every photo is shot on a plus-size fit model whose measurements we publish. You compare her numbers to yours instead of trusting a stranger's "runs small."
Sample-checked before it lists
Nothing goes live until we have had it in hand, measured it flat and at full stretch, and recorded the fabric weight and stretch level.
The exchange carries the risk
A new brand asking for trust should absorb the sizing risk, not hand it to you. Free size exchange on your first order, both directions.
Reviews go up unedited
When they arrive, every verified review is published as written — including the ones about fit we got wrong.
What each line means.
Her height, in feet and inches and in centimetres. Height changes how a hemline falls more than any other single factor — the same chemise that hits mid-thigh at 5’4″ hits high thigh at 5’9″.
Her body measurements, taken the same way we ask you to take yours. Compare them to your own numbers rather than to your usual dress size.
The exact size on her body in that photograph. Not “model wears S” — the size, so you can read the fit in the picture correctly.
Low, medium or high, measured on the sample. High stretch forgives a 3–4 inch difference from the chart; low stretch forgives almost nothing and you should size up if you are between.
None, light, moderate or firm. A soft-cup piece with no wire is not intended to lift or shape, however well it fits.
How sheer the piece is and where it can be adjusted — straps, back closures, waist ties. A garment with an adjustable band tolerates a wider range of bodies than one without.
What a fit record cannot tell you.
It is one body in one size. It narrows the guess considerably, but it does not eliminate it, and we would rather say so than oversell the idea.
- Two women with identical measurements can carry them differently — a fit record cannot show that
- It shows one size, so the fit on sizes either side is inference, not evidence
- It says nothing about how a piece feels after four hours of wear
- Colours photograph differently depending on light and screen
This is exactly why the exchange is free on your first order, and why you can send us your measurements and get a straight answer before you spend anything.

Every style in the edit carries its own record. Nothing is published until it has been measured.
